The Forgefast Hexagonal/Torx® Compatible Timber Screws are suitable for fixing into soft or hardwood. They have a combination hexagonal head with a deep Torx® compatible insert that reduces cam-out, also provides higher torque levels and a firmer drive. Its super-sharp tip gives immediate bite from the very first turn. A patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill the timber and reduces the probability of splitting, even when screwing close to the edge. Hardened case and core give exceptional strength.

Protected by element 2000 surface treatment which provides corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than some standard zinc coated screws. They are highly resistant to pull out, they can flex by up to 35°, reducing the likelihood of the screw shearing when used in flexible materials.

Timber is a natural living element that will absorb and release water to balance out with the changing seasons of the environment, as such can be subject to movement and weathering in the changing seasons.

Hanworth Timber Company Ltd does not accept liability for knots, cracks & shakes, Its common for cracks & splits to occur during drying and also warping of timber when it is allowed to dry too rapidly, this is a natural by-product of timber and is not considered as a fault. All movement no matter how large or small is classed as natural.

All of our timber is provided pressure treated green unless stated otherwise, please note when purchasing multiple timber products the colour can differ in variation, this can be associated with weathering, timber sourced from other country’s & mills.
